Douglas Arnold: 22/11/1928 - 22/11/2013        
Steps in Douglas's life: Born in London to Elsie and Walter. His mother server in Lord Balfour's home. After parents devorced Douglas was sent to a fosterage home. At 5 lived with his father. Mother remarried and Douglas lived with her in Cardiff missing his dad very much. At 16 he ran away and joined the royal navy where he served at communications. Through interest in socialism he came to Israel and Kfar-Hanassi in 1955. Here he married and had two daughters and later a son too. Douglas worked in the electricity shop and fixed electronic equipment especially. Worked for a while in agriculture too. Douglas was known as a controversial individual yet very patient and open minded member of our community
